Senior Data Governance Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Governance Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Architecture Team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust data engineering governance frameworks.

This role involves safeguarding data across its entire lifecycle, from ingestion and pipeline management to analytics and AI applications, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Establish and enforce data engineering governance standards and best practices across enterprise and self-service environments.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data engineering processes.
  • Define and implement data security policies and role-based access controls (RBAC/ABAC) across all data engineering processes.
About the Role
  • This is a contract position working as an Architect – Data Engineering Governance & Security on PAN India basis.
  • The ideal candidate should have at least 8+ years of experience in data engineering with 5+ years in data engineering and 2+ years in data security.

In this role, you will oversee data classification, lifecycle management, and comprehensive metadata management to ensure transparency, traceability, and compliance. You will also monitor, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and workflows, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications in Databricks, AWS, or Data Security platforms.
  • Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, manufacturing).
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
