About this role:

We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to oversee the remote management of solar assets across various locations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong project coordination and technical skills to take on a challenging role in renewable energy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with contractors, monitoring system performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. They will also be involved in troubleshooting issues, interpreting data, and escalating complex problems to internal engineering teams and OEMs.

To succeed in this position, you will need excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. If you have experience in project management, solar operations, or a related field, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remote Coordination & SLA Management:
    • Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
    • Monitor system performance data and escalate any issues that may impact uptime or compliance
    • Ensure that all necessary documentation is maintained and updated regularly
  • Performance & Compliance Oversight:
    • Review system performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase efficiency and reduce losses
    • Track and report on system uptime and performance metrics
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Technical Support & Escalation:
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting services for inverter, wiring, and monitoring issues
    • Interpret data from monitoring systems to identify root causes of problems and develop corrective actions
    • Liaise with internal engineering teams and OEMs to resolve complex technical issues
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of system performance, contractor activities, and other relevant information
    • Develop and submit regular reports to stakeholders on system performance, compliance status, and other key metrics
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication:
    • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, internal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
    • Provide regular updates to senior management on system performance, compliance status, and other key metrics
