ERP Testing Specialist

We're looking for a skilled ERP Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in software testing, preferably within ERP systems.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with complex business processes and cutting-edge technologies. As an ERP Tester, you'll be responsible for defining comprehensive test strategies and scenarios to ensure the quality and reliability of our software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning & Strategy:
  • Develop detailed test plans and strategies based on business and technical requirements.
  • Define testing methodologies and processes to cover functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Test Execution:
  • Lead and execute functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and security testing for ERP modules.
  • Utilize automated testing tools to enhance efficiency and coverage.
  • Perform manual testing where automation is not feasible.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and identify potential issues.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Foster effective communication within the QA team and across departments.
  • Quality Advocacy:
  • Champion quality assurance best practices and promote continuous improvement within the team.
  • Mentor junior testers and provide training and support.
  • Conduct code and test reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
  • Evaluate testing activities against relevant pharmaceutical industry regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of test cases, results, defects, and QA processes.
  • Validate data migration and ensure data integrity within the ERP system.
  • Issue Management:
  • Identify, document, and track defects and issues using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in software testing, preferably within ERP systems.
  • Proven track record of leading QA teams and managing complex testing projects.

Tech Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.

Regulatory Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and standards.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
