Job Title: Data Curator

Main Responsibilities:

  • Curate, organize, and maintain accuracy, completeness, and consistency of datasets.
  • Develop and implement data curation strategies for cleansing, transformation, and standardization.
  • Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to gather and interpret data requirements.
  • Select and optimize data storage and retrieval solutions to improve accessibility and usability.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance policies, privacy regulations, and data protection standards.
  • Maintain documentation for data curation processes, including data dictionaries and metadata standards.
  • Monitor data integrity, identify issues, and apply corrective actions.
  • Stay current with best practices in data curation and management.
  • Contribute to data-related projects such as migrations, integrations, and modeling initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in data curation, data management, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, governance, and quality assurance.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets.
  • Problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving data-related issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
