CAD Engineer - Workflow Automation Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workflow Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our VLSI Productivity and Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality workflows and automation platforms that supercharge the daily work of chip design engineers.

As a Workflow Automation Specialist, you will work closely with chip designers to thoroughly understand their daily work and help standardize, automate, and improve their processes. You will also be responsible for deconstructing user workflows into actionable tasks and planning a pathway to automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong programming fundamentals in algorithms/data structures with a multi-year history of maintaining platforms in production
  • Experience with EDA/C++ tools development is a plus
  • Excellent grasp of polyglot systems and the intertwining of workflows and UNIX processes, concurrency, and load-balancing
