Job Title: Senior Oracle Database Developer - Data Analytics

About Us: Mindsprint is a leading provider of data analytics and business intelligence solutions.

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Database Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server, and Tableau, with experience in delivering analytics and BI projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and support data analytics and BI platforms, including end-to-end environment management of Oracle, MS SQL, and Tableau.
  • Monitor system performance, identify, and implement performance improvements on databases, data collection systems, data sets, and data analytics for optimum efficiency.
  • Agree on key priorities on analytics with the business and deliver the same within agreed timelines and at acceptable quality.
  • Translate business needs to technical specifications and develop analytics that enable decision making.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain the data warehouse.
  • Develop and execute queries upon request for data.

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in an IT environment with at least 2+ years of working experience in delivering Analytics and BI projects.
  • Proven experience as a PL/SQL developer.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL.
  • Awareness of database design processes to set up new databases and table structures.
  • Ability to write high-quality database systems code, including database structures, triggers, stored procedures, queries, and deployment scripts.
  • Background in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining.
  • In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP), and online transactional processing (OLTP).
  • Programming skills in languages such as XML, JavaScript, Python, and R.
  • Solid experience in data analysis, self-service reporting, predictive analytics, and BI technologies using advanced software like Tableau, Power BI, and SAP BI.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL statement formulation, performance, indexing, and tuning (preferably Oracle).
  • Prior knowledge in preparing database functional and design specifications.
  • Setup test database systems and perform bug fixes.
  • Maintain accurate and complete database programming documentations.
  • Building analytics and complex data visualizations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Good analysis skills for application design and problem-solving.
  • Commodity Trading and Risk Management domain knowledge will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL tools, SQL management studio, Power BI, Tableau.
  • Technical proficiency in handling REST API, JSON, and FIX formats will be an advantage.

Salary: ₹12,00,000 - ₹18,00,000 per annum (estimated)
