Our suite of Improvement Apps is expanding rapidly, contributing to analytics and process improvement solutions for healthcare systems. This includes products managing health system populations, better serving patients at the point of care, reducing health system costs, and clinician workload.

Job Summary:

You'll work with diverse Improvement Apps, designing, developing, and maintaining platforms for internal team members, clinicians, and patients. You'll rely on Test-Driven Development to safely enhance and refactor our system, shipping production code multiple times per week.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Interpret data, analyze results, and provide ongoing reports on patient engagement
  • Contribute to database design, data collection systems, data analytics, and strategies optimizing statistical analysis and data quality used in ML/AI services
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary sources, extract datasets from relational databases, and maintain databases/data systems for incorporation into data products
  • Filter and 'clean' data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong working knowledge of C#/.Net/Angular/Microservices/DS&A
  • Strong working knowledge of CI/CD
  • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and architecture patterns (Azure preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy, collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating significant amounts of information in a timely manner
  • Able to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities, prioritizing scheduling of work
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 5+ years work experience as an app developer
  • BS or MS in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or similar field

You may also bring:

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and architecture patterns, either Azure or AWS preferred
  • Software development experience within healthcare IT and understanding key data models (clinical, claims, financial, etc.) and interoperability standards such as HL7v2, CDA, EMR, and FHIR
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance and how it applies to Application Security
  • Agile/Scrum software development practices
  • Business Intelligence or Data warehousing experience
