Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress development, with expertise in PHP, SQL, and REST APIs.

They will be responsible for building and maintaining advanced Gutenberg blocks, optimizing database queries, and integrating with microservices.

A professional with over 4 years of experience in web development and WordPress is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop custom WordPress solutions using PHP and the WordPress ecosystem.
  • Build and maintain advanced Gutenberg blocks using React and JavaScript.
  • Optimize database queries and code execution for improved performance.
  • Integrate with REST APIs and microservices to enhance functionality.
  • Collaborate with front-end integrators to connect blocks/themes while owning the backend architecture.
Requirements:
  • Deep expertise in PHP, SQL, and WordPress.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservice integration patterns.
  • Experience with React and JavaScript for Gutenberg block development.
  • Comfortable with Docker/Podman workflows and Linux environments.
  • Good command of HTML, CSS (SCSS), and JavaScript (ES6).
  • Experience working closely with designers and front-end integrators.
  • Awareness of accessibility and Core Web Vitals best practices.
