Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to lead the development and implementation of our microgrid projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with DCS/PLC programming.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing complex electrical systems, including BESS/Microgrid plants and BOP. They will also be involved in customer demos, FATs, SATs, and commissioning activities.

The Project Engineer will work closely with the team to identify and troubleshoot issues, and will be responsible for maintaining protocols for loop check, device check, and panel charging.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement complex electrical systems, including BESS/Microgrid plants and BOP
  • Develop and maintain DCS/PLC control systems
  • Lead customer demos, FATs, SATs, and commissioning activities
  • Maintain protocols for loop check, device check, and panel charging
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Three to five years of experience in DCS/PLC programming/engineering/commissioning
  • Strong knowledge of electrical equipment, including switchboards, generators, turbines, AVRs, motors, transformers, capacitors, CTs, VTs, feeders, meters, relays, and I/O signals
  • Excellent language and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in night shifts, if required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient in BESS power plant operations and performance evaluation
  • Good knowledge of Microgrid, control functions, and their required I/O signals
