Senior Backend Data & Integration Engineer Position

This is a senior-level backend data and integration engineer position. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience in developing crawling/fetch pipelines, parsing/normalization of job postings & CVs, deduplication/delta logic, embeddings/similarity search, integrations with HR systems, and batch/stream processing.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Development of crawling/fetch pipelines using API-first approach and playwright/requests.
  • Parsing/normalization of job postings & CVs, deduplication/delta logic, seen hash, repost heuristics.
  • Embeddings/similarity search controlling Azure OpenAI and vector persistence in pgvector.
  • Integrations with various APIs/webhooks/CSV import services.
  • Batch/stream processing (Azure Functions/container jobs) with retry/backoff and dead-letter queues.
  • Telemetry for data quality (freshness, duplicate rate, coverage, cost per 1,000 items).
  • Collaboration with frontend team for exports (CSV/Excel, presigned URLs) and admin configuration.
