Job Title: Senior Solar Procurement Lead

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the procurement process of solar components and services, ensuring timely delivery and optimal costs. This role is a key member of the project team.

About the Role:
  • This position involves strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier negotiations to ensure compliance with organizational goals and standards.
  • A high level of coordination with Project Management, Engineering, Finance, and Logistics teams is required to guarantee efficient supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Procurement Planning: Develop and implement end-to-end procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and organizational objectives.
  2. Vendor Development & Management: Identify reliable vendors, conduct regular evaluations, and negotiate contracts to secure long-term partnerships.
  3. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal teams to monitor material requirements and proactively address potential supply risks or delays.
Requirements:
  • 18–20 years of experience in procurement, preferably in leadership roles.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in the solar or renewable energy industry, particularly in EPC procurement.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong expertise in procurement for solar EPC projects.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of solar PV modules, inverters, and BoS components.
  • Proficient in ERP tools (SAP/Oracle) and MS Office suite.
