Eye Health Annotator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmologist to join our team as a Medical Data Labeling Specialist.

Job Description:

Annotate and label medical data, primarily images related to eye health, for AI and machine learning model development in ophthalmology.

This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to the improvement of eye health and patient care on a wider scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and annotate various ophthalmic data like fundus images and OCT scans.
  • Apply standardized grading protocols consistently for accurate and consistent labeling.
  • Participate in calibration sessions and reviews to maintain annotation consistency.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to ensure clinical validity of guidelines.
  • Validate AI model outputs for clinical accuracy and safety.
  • Develop or review materials for AI/ML algorithms to provide accurate patient education.
  • Ensure compliance with patient privacy and data security policies, including HIPAA.

Requirements:

  • Ophthalmologist (MBBS) with at least 1-2 years of clinical experience.
  • Extensive clinical knowledge of various eye conditions.
  • Experience in clinical data review and familiarity with medical record documentation.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accurate annotation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
