We are seeking an expert in cloud management to join our team as a VMware Cloud Foundation Engineer.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and reliability of the VCF stack, including vSphere, vSAN, vROps, and NSX. Your goal will be to maintain platform health, implement changes, and proactively optimize capacity and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Day 2 Operations & Reliability: Monitor, triage, and resolve incidents; drive problem management and root cause analysis.
  • Platform Administration: Perform routine health checks and remediation across vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and vROps.
Technical Skills
  • vSphere: clusters, resource pools, DRS/HA, vMotion/storage vMotion, templates, VM lifecycle.
  • vSAN: storage policies, capacity planning, resync monitoring, performance troubleshooting.
  • NSX (NSXT): segments/overlays, T0/T1 gateways, distributed firewall rules, NAT, basic load balancing concepts.
  • vROps/Aria Operations: dashboards, alert tuning, capacity/performance analytics, reporting.
Security & Compliance
  • Implement and validate basic firewall rules and segmentation policy in NSX per standards.
  • Adhere to change control, audit, and security practices.
Qualifications
  • 4-7 years of experience in VMware virtualization and software-defined data center operations.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with vSphere and vSAN; 1-2 years with NSXT day 2 operations.
  • Prior experience operating vROps/Aria Operations in production.
  • Certifications: VCP-DCV (required or in progress), VCP-NV (plus), VCAP (plus).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent practical experience.
