Cybersecurity Strategist

Our organization seeks a seasoned cybersecurity professional to assume the role of Manager – Security Engineering. This critical position will be responsible for spearheading vulnerability lifecycle management, cloud security initiatives, and SOC/incident response to ensure end-to-end protection of our systems, infrastructure, and applications.

• Conduct and oversee Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) to identify and mitigate risks.
• Implement and manage advanced security tools for real-time monitoring, detection, and incident response.
• Lead cloud security initiatives, including Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and compliance monitoring.
• Oversee application security practices, secure coding standards, and regular assessments.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to embed security in all processes.
• Support SOC operations to ensure timely detection, analysis, and resolution of incidents.
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and apply insights to enhance defenses.
• Contribute to projects related to Information and Cyber Security Risk.
• Develop scalable tools, solutions, and processes to strengthen security operations.
• Prepare detailed reports with findings, recommendations, and remediation strategies.
• Provide security event analysis, investigation, and escalation for identified threats.

• 8+ years of experience in vulnerability management and security operations.
• Proven expertise in cyber forensics and incident response.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity risks, threats, and APTs.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure and application security.
• Knowledge of VM tools (e.g., Rapid7), cloud security tools, log management, and syslog.
• Exposure to API security, digital asset protection, and cloud technologies is a plus.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and mitigate threats.
• Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent.
• Cloud Certifications: Azure Security Engineer, Microsoft Cybersecurity, or AWS Certified Security (highly advantageous).
