About the Role

We are seeking a Private Company Sourcing Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work in a fast-paced environment and be part of a dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing and evaluating private companies, especially those with shares in demat form or approaching listing readiness.
  • Market mapping – building sector landscapes to spot high-potential businesses across growth and late-stage segments.
  • Founder outreach – engaging with promoters, founders, and advisors to explore potential investment opportunities.
  • Preliminary assessment – analyzing financials, governance, and compliance of shortlisted companies.
  • Investment notes – preparing screening reports, teasers, and pipeline dashboards for the investment committee.
  • Relationship development – building connections with bankers, intermediaries, and ecosystem players to generate proprietary deal flow.
  • Tracking trends – monitoring regulatory updates for potential listings.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, commerce, or a related field (MBA/CFA preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, consulting, or corporate finance.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
