A forward-thinking architect is required to lead project completion, construction, and communication skills to ensure timely execution. This role involves analyzing architectural designs and plans, ensuring all designs meet industry standards and government regulations.

• Analyzing architectural designs and plans for optimal performance

• Developing in-depth knowledge of project completion, construction, and communication skills
• Supervising junior architects and assigning tasks effectively
• Scheduling and delivering at skill enhancement workshops
• Communicating project status and completion timelines to clients
• Preparing building models and structure plans for presentation
• Conducting mockup sessions for stakeholder engagement
• Guiding the construction project from start to finish with expertise
• Presenting project briefs to clients for approval
• Understanding client requirements/preferences and environmental impacts on construction projects
• Creating blueprints and making alterations based on client feedback
• Developing projects while adhering to specified budget and timeline constraints
• Undertaking regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress
• Developing and interpreting a range of structural designs, providing mentorship and guidance
• Controlling projects from start to finish to ensure high-quality, innovative, and functional design
• Demonstrating creativity, foresight, and architectural judgment in developing architectural solutions
• Producing construction documents using REVIT software efficiently
• Understanding construction assemblies and best practices for implementation
• Actively coordinating design and equipment with consultants and other disciplines
• Researching and selecting building products, composing written specifications accurately
• Participating in project meetings, documenting discussions through meeting minutes
• Actively participating in quality assurance/quality control review sessions at project milestones
• Compiling all documentation required to submit projects to Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for review and approval
• Tracking submissions and responding to comments and requests from AHJs as required to obtain permits
• Managing project through Construction Administration phase by routing RFIs and shop drawings to the appropriate team member
• Responding to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, issuing ASIs and RFPs, and reviewing pay applications
• Traveling to and visiting project construction sites to observe construction progress and composing field reports
• Continually learning and staying informed of new systems, methods, and sustainable practices to benefit the collective team and clients
• Supporting strategic goals of the firm, studio, department, and manager, understanding how your actions contribute to them
• Being self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team environment to coordinate and maintain positive working relationships with other design professionals
• Exhibiting excellent problem-solving, listening, and follow-through skills in the workplace
• Showing strong proficiency in modeling in REVIT and SketchUp, applying knowledge creatively
• Maintaining C-P/Client standards and QC throughout projects with diligence
• Assisting PM in setting scope and budget for successful project delivery
• Assisting client's interests in public hearings and meetings, advocating their needs
• Being capable of serving as the main P.O.C. for a project or running projects with minimal oversight
• Assisting in providing full CA services, supporting project teams
• Assisting in proposal preparation, presenting ideas to clients
• Running projects with minimal oversight from PM/PA, demonstrating autonomy
• Producing designs, CDs, and having an understanding of specs, maintaining quality
• Completing scope within allotted time/budget, meeting project expectations
• Managing permitting process/response to comments, ensuring compliance
• Managing bidding procedures, streamlining project workflows
• Providing field assistance with CA, supporting construction teams
• Researching and applying applicable codes/contact with AHJs, ensuring regulatory compliance
• Coordinating with other disciplines, running kickoff meetings
• Being the main P.O.C. with limited input from PM or Principal, leading projects confidently
• Coordinating Owner revisions, RFIs, and AHJ comments, resolving issues efficiently
• Coordinating Peer review and QC of documents, ensuring accuracy
• Designing & producing architectural designs/CDs/specifications, maintaining quality standards
• Checking completed work against markups prior to returning to PA, ensuring quality
• Incorporating C-P/Client drafting standards and conventions into CDs, maintaining consistency
• Preparing plans and details from sketches/redlines, creating accurate documents
• Receiving and sending drawings electronically, facilitating collaboration
