Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new features, maintaining and enhancing existing ones, testing and deploying code, creating back-end components, integrating user-facing elements, and ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile devices.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in web-based software development
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience working with Ruby on Rails and ability to write clean Ruby code
  • Proficiency with code versioning tools like Bitbucket, Git, GitHub
  • Familiarity with MVC, REST
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, and Bootstrap framework
  • Familiarity with database technology and SQL programming (we use MySQL)
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools (we use Jira, Scrum)
  • Proficient with Linux distributions like Ubuntu

Desired Skillset
  • Experience with frameworks like AngularJS, Angular, React
  • Experience with web servers like Apache, Nginx
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (we use AWS)
  • Experience in developing and maintaining APIs
