Job Title: NASCAR Content Editor

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate NASCAR content editor to join our editorial team. As a content editor, you will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of statistical data, proofreading articles, and enhancing their quality before publication.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the fundamentals of the English language and American culture. You should be quick with fact-checking and able to enhance the editorial quality of content.

You will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding writers to refine and boost their quality, output, and overall performance. Additionally, you will ensure smooth daily operations of writers in the NASCAR division and undertake other key duties as instructed by the Editorial Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Editing and publishing 20-25 articles daily.
  • Proofreading articles to ensure no errors remain and checking plagiarism before publication.
  • Researching to verify facts and eliminate incorrect claims.
  • Publishing articles in a timely fashion for priority news-based articles.
  • Mentoring and guiding writers to improve their quality and output.
  • Ensuring smooth daily operations of writers in the NASCAR division.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6-12 months of experience in proofreading and/or content editing.
  • Prior experience leading a team of writers is an additional plus.
