Senior Data Engineer - ETL Specialist

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with expertise in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to join our team.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to design, develop, and implement efficient ETL solutions that cater to the needs of our organization. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality data delivery, optimizing data pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale ETL workflows using various tools and technologies such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, AWS Glue, or similar.
  • Develop and execute data quality checks, data validation, and data profiling to ensure accurate and reliable data delivery.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.
  • Optimize ETL performance, scalability, and reliability to meet evolving business needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve ETL processes and data quality.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in ETL testing, data quality assurance, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation, querying, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts, data models, and database management systems (DBMS) such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with large-scale data environments, data lakes, or cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with BI reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting) for test automation.
