We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Associate to join our team in Chennai. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for drafting and reviewing complex legal documents, including Software Escrow Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Addendums.

Your expertise in contract management in the IT or BPO domain will ensure seamless agreement negotiation with customers regarding terms.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and Reviewing Legal Documents: You will be responsible for drafting and reviewing various legal documents, including Software Escrow Agreements, NDAs, and Addendums.
  • Negotiating Agreement Terms: You will negotiate agreement terms with various customers, ensuring that their needs are met while also protecting the interests of our organization.
  • Timely Handling of Customer Queries: You will handle customer queries in a timely and efficient manner, providing clear and concise responses to their questions.
  • Facilitating Agreement Execution: You will facilitate agreement execution and follow-up with customers for timely completion and obtaining signed agreements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law: A Bachelor's degree in Law is required for this position.
  • Professional Experience in Contract Management: You should have professional experience in contract management in the IT or BPO domain.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel: You should be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position.
  • Strong Negotiating Skills: You should have strong negotiating skills to negotiate agreement terms with customers.
  • Multicultural Awareness and Sensitivity: You should have multicultural awareness and sensitivity to engage appropriately with colleagues and customers of different nationalities.
