Senior Tax Analyst - Foreign Reporting Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Analyst to join our Direct Tax Reporting team in Hyderabad, India. This position will support the Foreign Reporting and Compliance, Withholding Tax Team by driving process improvements, enhancing controls and standardising tax-related processes.

The successful candidate will collaborate with global teams to implement tax controllership initiatives, review and lead the documentation of tax technical positions and processes. They will also identify and develop risk management strategies for key risk areas and gaps in existing processes.

  • Drive standardisation and process improvements to streamline operations, achieve efficiencies, and develop performance metrics.
  • Document and communicate project status, including preparing materials for leadership.
  • Provide internal and external audit support.
  • Monitor and track for ACS 450/FAS5 tax contingencies. Maintain, enhance, monitor and document controls.

A day in the life involves leading projects, conducting audits, improving processes and controls. The successful candidate will engage with various teams, act as a subject matter expert, and utilise technology to achieve efficient results in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
  • Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department
  • 4+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • Experience researching tax issues
  • Financial / Accounting knowledge
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, processes, and entries
  • Knowledge of withholding tax principles and application
