Business Finance Strategist

The Business Finance Strategist plays a pivotal role in driving financial performance and business outcomes by providing insightful analysis, strategic planning, and operational support to business units.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing actionable insights to inform decision-making
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial goals and operational strategy
  • Leading the development and implementation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly reports
  • Analyzing variances between actuals, forecasts, and budgets to present findings with recommendations for improvement
  • Tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and business drivers
  • Designing and maintaining dashboards and management reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies to enhance business performance
  • Monitoring expenses and ensuring alignment with financial targets
  • Preparing accurate and timely financial reports for senior management

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CPA/CFA is a plus)
  • 3+ years of experience in business finance, FP&A
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver under tight deadlines

Preferred skills include:

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of operational metrics
  • Ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders
  • Experience in similar industry is a plus
