Reliability Monitoring Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in condition monitoring to join our reliability team. The successful candidate will be responsible for real-time equipment health surveillance, ensuring uninterrupted operations for clients.

  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance data using specialized software and dashboards to identify potential issues before they occur.
  • Review incoming alerts and tickets, classify them based on severity, and respond promptly to ensure timely resolution.
  • Investigate anomalies, reducing false positives and ensuring accurate escalations to relationship managers or maintenance teams with detailed supporting data and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of monitoring activities, alerts, and escalation actions to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistent and efficient monitoring practices.
  • Provide detailed handovers to maintain continuity of operations across teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to continuously enhance monitoring and reporting processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Strong foundational understanding of rotating machinery and industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with condition monitoring data types such as vibration analysis, temperature trends, and current signatures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify abnormal patterns in data.
  • Effective communication skills for clear reporting and escalation.

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with condition monitoring systems and tools.
  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques such as Vibration Analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
