About the Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Audit Group Finance, you will be responsible for leading audits and providing expert guidance on financial regulatory reporting risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive audit plans that address key risks identified in the detailed risk assessment, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and expectations.
  • Risk Identification and Mitigation: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, escalate, and mitigate risks, issues, trends, and developments that may impact the bank's operations.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, supervision, and mentorship to team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience: In auditing and risk management, preferably within a global bank or Big-4 accounting firm.
  • Expertise: In financial regulatory reporting risks, including interpretation of key regulations and reporting to the regulator.
  • Leadership skills: Proven ability to lead teams, provide guidance, and develop talent.
