The role of Senior Procurement Manager involves developing and implementing sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
This position requires a strong leader to manage the purchase and store team, optimize procurement processes for cost savings and efficiency, and negotiate with vendors for best pricing and quality.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Engineering and 13–17 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management. Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills are also essential.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing sourcing strategies aligned with business goals
- Leading, mentoring, and managing the purchase and store team
- Optimizing procurement, inventory, and sourcing processes for cost savings and efficiency
- Negotiating with vendors for best pricing and quality
- Ensuring compliance with legal, safety, and environmental standards
- Managing inventory to meet production demands while minimizing waste and obsolescence
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 13–17 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain (Manufacturing industry experience preferred)
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems and supplier management processes
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills
