Expert Insurance Claims Specialist Opportunity

We seek a diligent and detail-oriented individual to verify insurance benefits, secure prior authorizations, and ensure seamless communication with patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify patient eligibility for medical services and obtain prior authorizations efficiently.
  • Document all authorizations in electronic medical records (EMRs) and track progress using Excel.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to resolve coverage issues.
  • Collaborate with the front office and billing teams to address insurance-related queries.
  • Manage high call volumes with excellent phone etiquette and active listening skills.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical insurance verification and prior authorization.
  • Strong understanding of co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance policies.
  • Familiarity with sleep studies and durable medical equipment (DME) services is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in EMR systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
