Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer Azure infrastructure services with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Maintain high proficiency in Microsoft Azure and handle cloud infrastructure services like VMs, DBs, Storage accounts, Application Gateways, Load balancers, AKS, VNETs, WAF, and DevOps components.
  • Experience with firewall rule configuration is an advantage.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure services and multiple cloud servers.
  • Knowledge of Azure Backup and Disaster Recovery services.
  • Deploy and manage Azure tenants, subscriptions, resources, resource groups, NSG, etc.

Tech Requirements:

  • Azure Resource Manager Templates (ARM Templates).
  • Working knowledge of containers, orchestration with Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • General working knowledge of Kubernetes design and implementation.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps including Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, and Azure Repos.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid interpersonal skills for collaboration with delivery engineering teams.
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply instructions.
  • Ability to follow complex instructions and guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL Foundations Certification.
  • Desired Certifications: AZ 104, Azure Developer, Azure DevOps Engineer.
  • Additional technology areas and experience: Linux, PowerShell, BASH, Cloud platform specific automation tooling, additional scripting languages, additional software development languages, data experience, networking experience.
