Quality Assurance Automation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Specialist to lead our test automation efforts. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for designing and developing automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and related tools/frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and related tools/frameworks.
  • Analyze results to identify defects and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather detailed test requirements and fully understand application functionality.
  • Serve as a technical mentor to junior testers and support knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in test automation processes, tools, and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree / BE/B.Tech or equivalent in a technical field.
  • Strong knowledge of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Proven experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, BDD, and Cucumber.
  • Understanding of API testing and tools like Postman.
  • Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
  • Experience with mobile automation tools, preferably Appium, for Android and iOS platforms.
  • Good working knowledge of Agile development processes.
  • Familiarity with defect management tools like JIRA.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of proficiency in written English.
