Job Title

We are seeking an experienced PowerBuilder Developer to join our team.

About the Job

This is a contract-to-hire position with immediate start for a developer who can work on production support and maintenance of systems built using PowerBuilder.

  • Mandatory Skill Experience:
  • PowerBuilder, SQL
Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of PowerBuilder and strong database skills. A strong understanding of SQL scripts and experience in manipulating data using Sybase SQL server database would be beneficial.

In addition, experience in creating or modifying stored procedures and triggers would be an asset. The ability to analyze requirements and formulate design would also be essential.

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting systems in production and maintenance, ensuring that they are running smoothly and efficiently.

Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary for this role as the candidate will be required to communicate effectively with the development team and other stakeholders.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have the following skills:

  • 10+ years of experience with PowerBuilder development
  • 10+ years of experience with MS SQL server
  • Experience in writing SQL scripts to manipulate data using Sybase SQL server database
  • Ability to create or modify stored procedures and triggers
  • Strong database skills
