A network security engineer is required to join our organization in a leadership role, responsible for deploying and planning our network infrastructure. The role involves delivering and deploying network security projects and requests to enhance our infrastructure and meet current and future business demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploying local area network (LAN) infrastructure to support end-user services requirements
  • Planning, managing and deploying technology changes to support data center (DC) services
  • Creating implementation plans for request for change (RFC's) to a high level of detail
  • Supporting the stability and uptime of essential services by planning changes with a documented best approach mindset
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of Cisco routing & switching
  • CCNA or CCNP certification or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Fortinet firewalls
  • Firewall migration experience, including FortiAnalyzer, FortiConverter and FortiManager
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
  • A very organized individual
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
  • Analyzing, reviewing and understanding network topologies
Desired Skills
  • Experience with Cisco application centric infrastructure (ACI)
  • Fortinet network security expert (NSE4) certification or above
  • Experience with ethernet VPN (EVPN)
  • Checkpoint certification or equivalent experience
  • Fortinet certification or equivalent experience
  • Loading balancing experience (F5)
