Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist - Network Firewall Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Hyderabad. As a Network Firewall Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing secure network architectures.

Salary: ₹1,500,000 - ₹3,000,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Job:

As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Designing and implementing secure network architectures using Juniper SRX, Palo Alto, and FortiGATE firewalls.
  • Configuring firewalls to maximize network efficiency and security.
  • Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Providing critical thinking to sophisticated problems in a 24/7, critical network environment.
  • Process, monitor, and prioritize trouble tickets.
  • Automating tasks where possible.
  • Providing support and administration of customer firewalls and security appliances.
  • Arranging scheduled upgrades.
  • Investigating faults in the network.
  • Reporting network status to key stakeholders.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Network fundamentals – TCP/IP
  • Experience in supporting Juniper SRX, Palo Alto, FortiGATE, and ASA
  • Knowledge on ITIL procedures
  • Bachelor's degree in IS, Computer Science, MIS Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience needed.
  • Relevant years of experience as a Major/Critical Incident Manager.
  • ITIL Trained, Tested, and Certified (ITIL Foundation Certified)
  • Working Experience of Service Now (Ticketing tool)
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and oral), with experience interacting with all levels of management both within Company and Customer organizations.

Preferred Qualifications:

You will also have a competitive advantage if you have:
  • JNCIA or PCNSE
  • Firewall management platform JUNOS Space or Palo Alto Panorama
  • Load balancer – Netscaler
  • Wireshark - packet capture and analysis of the captures
