About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Planning and Implementation:
    • Create detailed lesson plans aligned with the CBSE Social Science curriculum.
    • Prepare comprehensive materials for student assessment.
    • Design interdisciplinary projects that connect social science with current events.
  • Teaching and Classroom Engagement:
    • Deliver interactive and engaging lessons across History, Geography, Civics, and Economics.
    • Use innovative teaching methodologies such as storytelling, group discussions, and multimedia tools.
    • Encourage critical thinking and debate among students.
  • Assessment and Evaluation:
    • Develop and administer class tests and examinations in accordance with school and CBSE guidelines.
    • Maintain accurate records of student progress.
    • Provide individualized feedback to students.
  • Student Development and Mentoring:
    • Support students in understanding complex social, political, and historical issues.
    • Identify and assist students requiring additional academic or emotional support.
  • Classroom Management and Discipline:
    • Maintain a well-ordered and respectful classroom environment.
    • Promote values such as democracy, equality, and environmental awareness.
    • Implement school policies related to behavior and discipline.
  • Parent-Stakeholder Communication:
    • Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress.
    • Participate in parent-teacher meetings and contribute to student development plans.
  • Institutional Participation:
    • Take part in staff meetings, department planning, and professional development programs.
    • Support in examination duties and documentation as assigned.
  • Professional Growth and CBSE Compliance:
    • Stay updated with CBSE circulars and best practices in Social Science education.
    • Attend in-service training programs and contribute to curriculum enrichment.
