Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Systems Designer to join our team. As a designer, you will be responsible for creating 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment, with the ability to interpret engineering sketches and specifications to produce accurate and efficient designs.

In this role, you will collaborate with engineers and other designers to ensure design intent and project requirements are met. You will also perform design checks, tolerance analysis, and ensure manufacturability of components.

About This Role

  • Create part models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings with a focus on mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Interpret engineering sketches and specifications to produce accurate and efficient designs.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other designers to ensure design intent and project requirements are met.
  • Perform design checks, tolerance analysis, and ensure manufacturability of components.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma/Engineering Graduate in Mechanical or Production Engineering with 3 to 7 years of experience.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault for mechanical design and documentation.
  • Experience in designing mechanical systems, equipment layouts, and fabrication drawings.
  • Familiarity with international design standards and codes (ASME, ISO, DIN, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, material selection, and manufacturing processes.
