Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced leader to head our next-generation Enterprise Technology Platform.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building functionally rich, high-performance, scalable, and multi-tenant platforms using Java technologies. They should also have experience in building secure platforms, bringing innovative software products to market, and understanding platform-level abstractions from user requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical task lists, providing technical guidance to the team, and enforcing industry standards and best practices.

Key Result Areas:

  • Create and enforce technical standards and best practices
  • Develop innovative approaches for delivering tailored solutions
  • Establish and develop strong professional relationships with Product Management, Analytics, and Technology groups
  • Collaborate with technical developers and review deliverables for accuracy, quality, application performance, and completeness
  • Provide in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions
  • Create and enhance reusable assets and frameworks
  • Develop prototypes to demonstrate the use of new technologies within our Products

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong background in Java technologies
  • Experience in building secure platforms
  • Substantial track record of success in bringing innovative software products to market
  • Ability to maintain 'big picture' focus and lead engineering in a rapidly evolving technology marketplace
  • Enterprise platform experience with preferably both thin and thick client experience
