Data Engineering Opportunity

As a seasoned data engineer, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments.

You will contribute to large-scale planning of strategies, design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domains, including upgrades and deployments.

Reviewing moderately complex technical challenges requires an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures. You will resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements.

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals. Lead projects and act as an escalation point, providing guidance and direction to less experienced staff.

The ideal candidate should have 6+ years of hands-on experience in Python, Spark (Apache Spark or Pyspark), BigQuery (GCP) and UNIX software enterprise application development, and uses continuous integration and delivery when developing code. Experience in Banking/Financial technology domains is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to implement modernized and sustainable technology roadmaps.
  • Analyzing technical requirements and implementing software solutions.
  • Actively contributing to building next-generation solutions for Commercial Banking Services, Digital & Payment channels, enhancing service levels of current solutions.
  • Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software according to standards, policies, procedures, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Resolving Application issues with software solutions and responding to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
  • Proactively managing risk through implementation of right controls and escalating where required.
  • Working with engineering manager, product owner, and team to ensure that the product is delivered with quality, on time, and within budget.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to work in a global development environment.
