About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Kotlin Multiplatform Developer to join our team and drive our mobile development forward. As a senior developer, you will be responsible for building high-quality, cross-platform mobile applications using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Kotlin, including coroutines, flows, and modern Kotlin idioms. They should also have experience in native Android development (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose) and working knowledge of iOS (Swift/SwiftUI). In addition, they should be proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and dependency management for multiplatform projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, Develop, and Maintain Cross-Platform Applications: The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain high-quality cross-platform applications using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP). They will work closely with the product owners, QA, and UI/UX teams to ensure that the applications meet project requirements.
  • Implement Shared Business Logic and Data Layers: They will implement shared business logic and data layers across Android and iOS platforms, ensuring seamless integration and efficient data management.
  • Collaborate with Platform-Specific Teams: The candidate will collaborate with the iOS and Android teams to integrate KMP modules with Swift/SwiftUI and Kotlin/Jetpack Compose frontends, ensuring a unified user experience across both platforms.
  • Develop and Maintain RESTful API and GraphQL Integrations: They will develop and maintain RESTful API and GraphQL integrations, local database access, and offline-first capabilities, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 4–8 years of professional mobile development experience with at least 1–2 years in Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP/KMM).
  2. Kotlin Expertise: Strong expertise in Kotlin, including coroutines, flows, and modern Kotlin idioms.
  3. Native Development Experience: Experience in native Android development (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose) and working knowledge of iOS (Swift/SwiftUI).
  4. Integration Experience: Hands-on experience integrating KMP modules with platform-specific codebases.
  5. Architecture Knowledge: Strong knowledge of clean architecture, MVVM, and modular project structures.
  6. API Experience: Experience working with REST APIs, GraphQL, and JSON parsing.
  7. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and dependency management for multiplatform projects.
