Job Title: Lead Transmission Line and Telecom Tower Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our team in designing, estimating, and executing transmission line and telecom tower projects. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in design engineering, estimation, tendering, and planning within the OHTL (Overhead Transmission Lines) and Substation domains.

  • Prepare detailed tower designs, structural analysis, and drawings in compliance with IS/IEC/International standards.
  • Develop BOQ, BOM, and cost estimations for tendering and project execution.
  • Evaluate client specifications, tender documents, and provide technical & commercial proposals.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, and site execution teams to ensure alignment of design with project requirements.
  • Perform load analysis, proto development support, and optimization of tower design for cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead the estimation process for domestic and international transmission & substation projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessment, and value engineering for new projects.
  • Support planning, scheduling, and resource management to meet project deadlines.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and third-party inspection agencies for design approvals and clarifications.
About This Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and estimation process for transmission line and telecom tower projects. The ideal candidate should have excellent leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil Engineering (Master's in Engineering preferred).
  • 05–12+ years of experience in Tower Design, Estimation, and Project Planning in Power Transmission / Telecom Tower industry.
  • Hands-on expertise in design software (STAAD, PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, MS Tower) and ERP tools (SAP/JDE).
  • Strong knowledge of international standards (IS, IEC, ASCE, ASTM, etc.).
  • Experience in global tendering & estimation for OHTL, Substations, and Telecom Tower projects.
