Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to develop 3D models and 2D drawings of heavy fabrication components.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing 3D models and 2D drawings of heavy fabrication components, including frames, booms, arms, chassis, brackets, and sheet metal.
  • Performing strength, tolerance, and weld design calculations.
  • Ensuring manufacturability of designs with respect to cutting, bending, machining, and welding processes.
  • Preparing BOMs, technical specifications, and release drawings for production.
  • Ensuring compliance with ASME, ISO standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in:

  • SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, and Key Creator Atlas.
  • Knowledge of GD&T, welding symbols, and fabrication processes.

A Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering is required.

4-8 years of experience in heavy steel structures and assemblies is preferred.
