Vastu Housing Finance Corporation Ltd. is excited to announce the launch of its Emerging CA Leaders Program, a fast-track career development initiative designed for freshly graduated Chartered Accountants looking to accelerate their growth in the Credit function.

Career Path

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to grow into Branch Credit Managers in 1 year and Area Credit Managers in 2 to 3 years, depending on the performance achieved during the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate borrowers' creditworthiness, review loan proposals, and ensure quick turnaround times (TAT) for affordable housing loans.
  • Oversee all credit-related functions across assigned branches, ensuring optimal productivity and adherence to standards.
  • Develop an understanding of technical and legal aspects related to mortgage loans, supporting sound credit decisions.
  • Conduct personal discussions with potential borrowers at their place of business or residence to assess their credit profiles.
  • Liaise with legal, technical, and processing teams to ensure smooth execution of loan processes.
  • Track branch performance metrics and take proactive measures to ensure a healthy credit portfolio.
  • Maintain strong control standards, ensuring full adherence to company policies, product guidelines, and credit advisories.
  • Regularly review post-disbursement documents (PDDs) and resolve any pending issues swiftly.
  • Work closely with risk and audit teams to ensure all processes are audit-ready with no high-risk audit flags.
  • Stay up to date on market developments and regulatory changes within the assigned geography.
Required Qualifications
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is a must; prior work experience of no more than 2 years
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a passion for credit underwriting and portfolio management.
