Job Description:

A video editor will be responsible for end-to-end editing for diverse video projects including marketing, social media, product demos, testimonials and branded content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit raw footage into professional high-quality videos for various platforms YouTube Instagram website ads
  • Incorporate graphics music audio mixing sound effects transitions captions and colour grading to enhance video impact
  • Collaborate regularly with creative leads marketers and motion designers to meet project requirements and brand standards
  • Review and implement feedback on drafts to produce final cuts within deadlines
  • Organise and manage video assets and files for efficient workflow export videos in required formats
  • Stay updated with industry trends new editing techniques and video technologies including AI tools when relevant
  • Maintain a consistent style and brand voice across all videos

Qualifications Experience and Expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree in Media Communication Animation or related field preferred
  • 2-3 years hands-on experience with professional video editing portfolio required
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe suites such as Adobe Premiere Pro After Effects Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Sound knowledge of colour correction audio editing and motion graphics
  • Strong attention to detail ability to deliver under tight deadlines
  • Excellent teamwork communication and creative problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with social media algorithm requirements and digital distribution standards is a plus
