Cloud Infrastructure Expert


At Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Ltd., we seek an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a good university degree in an IT-related subject and excellent spoken and written English skills.


Key Responsibilities



  • Deploy, support, and manage clouds based on Apache CloudStack.
  • Provide detailed architectural knowledge of Apache CloudStack.
  • Contribute to or work within an open-source project, preferably the Apache CloudStack project.
  • Work as an experienced Linux user and system administrator.
  • Write shell scripts and Python.
  • Apply automation and configuration management using technologies such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Work with one or more hypervisor technologies such as XenServer, VMWare, or KVM.
  • Have knowledge of Java, Tomcat, Spring, Maven, and Jenkins.
  • Debug and resolve production issues.
  • Participate in support and on-call schedules using relevant tools.
  • Understand networking, including software-defined networking.
  • Know storage protocols and technologies (CIFS and NFS, object storage s3, etc).

Requirements



  • Good university degree in an IT-related subject.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Experience in deploying, supporting, or managing clouds based on Apache CloudStack.
  • Detailed architectural knowledge of Apache CloudStack.
  • Experience in contributing to or working within an open-source project, preferably the Apache CloudStack project.
  • Experienced Linux user and system administrator.
  • Experience in writing shell scripts and Python.
  • Experience in automation and configuration management using technologies such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Experience working with one or more hypervisor technologies such as XenServer, VMWare, or KVM.
  • Knowledge of Java, Tomcat, Spring, Maven, and Jenkins.
  • Experience in debugging and resolving production issues.
  • Experience in support participation, on-call schedules, and using tools.
  • Good networking knowledge, including software-defined networking.
  • Good understanding of storage protocols and technologies.
