Interior Designer Job Description

An Interior Designer is responsible for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces by understanding the needs of clients and delivering exceptional design solutions.

  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent creative thinking skills, with the ability to develop innovative designs based on client feedback.
Key Responsibilities:

As an Interior Designer, you will be required to communicate effectively with clients to assess their needs, make informed design decisions, and ensure that all projects are completed within agreed-upon timelines.

  • Drive Deal Closure: Collaborate with internal teams to secure new business opportunities and close deals efficiently.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure a seamless experience for clients throughout the project lifecycle, from initial consultation to final delivery.
  • Design Quality: Own the quality and accuracy of design deliverables, maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Project Lifecycle: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from conceptualization to completion, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • Graduation / relevant Diploma | Minimum 15 years' of Academic education.
  • Minimum Experience 6 months as an Interior Designer.
  • Led and delivered minimum 5 to 6 Residential projects.
  • Holds excellent knowledge of design tools, PPT presentation, AutoCAD.
  • Holds design expertise in Conceptual design (Layout, Style, Moodboard)
  • Technical design (Material knowledge, Execution and Drawing Preparation)
  • Modular design (Material knowledge, aesthetics & functionality, module planning)
  • Civil works & Services (specifications & installation details)
  • Holds project expertise in Creating BoQ for customers, Coordinating with internal & external agencies.
  • Holds sales expertise in Sales Closure by way of logical & trusted Sales pitch, Driving and leading the Design meetings with the customers
  • Holds behavioural attributes of Result oriented, Team work, Integrity & Ethics, Crisp & meaningful communication.
  • Holds a high degree of willingness to learn, ability to drive performance among independent team members.
