PHP Developer Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a skilled PHP developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building efficient, testable, and reusable modules, websites, admin panels, and web apps using PHP.

Responsibilities:

  • Build efficient, testable, and reusable modules, websites, admin panels, and web apps using PHP.
  • Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
  • Developing plug-ins, custom functionality, and themes (for WordPress, Magento, Shopify, etc).
  • Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
  • Using online tools for collaboration, bug tracking, project tracking, and Git repository.
  • Handling various development tasks during the web development life cycle from start to finish.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel, Codeigniter, etc.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in related field.
  • Understand Frameworks such as WordPress, Magento, and Shopify.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5/SCSS/SASS & Javascript in building websites and web apps.
  • Understanding of MVC design patterns.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming.
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
  • Creation of User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
  • Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT.
