We're seeking a seasoned freelance data modeler to join our roster of experts. With a strong background in statistical modeling and analytics, you'll leverage your expertise in SAS and Python to drive business success.

The ideal candidate should have at least 6+ years of experience in developing, validating, and maintaining complex statistical models using SAS and Python.

You will lead the migration of SAS code to Python, ensuring seamless transitions and optimized performance. Additionally, you'll translate SAS macros, procedures, and workflows into efficient Python equivalents.

To succeed in this role, you must establish best practices for modeling, workflow management, and performance monitoring. Furthermore, you'll mentor team members on Python adoption, coding practices, and analytics workflows.

Key Requirements:
  • Expertise in Base SAS, SAS/STAT, Enterprise Miner, Visual Analytics, PROC SQL, and macros.
  • Proficiency in pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, seaborn, and PySpark (desired).
  • Strong understanding of regression, forecasting, clustering, classification, A/B testing, and causal inference.
  • Experience leading large-scale SAS-to-Python migrations.
  • Leadership skills to influence stakeholders and deliver high-impact results.
