Job Title: Tax and Accounting Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Tax and Accounting Operations Manager to join our team. As a Tax and Accounting Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing high-volume tax and accounting operations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of progressive experience in tax and accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role. You will have a proven track record of managing AP processes, reconciliations, transaction coding, and compliance requirements.

You will work closely with our finance, tax, and operations teams to align AP with broader business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, with excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee AP department ensuring timely and accurate processing of all AP transactions.">
• Supervise, mentor, and develop AP professionals and senior AP staff to build a high-performing team.">
• Be single point of contact for client to ensure high quality service and respond to queries, concerns and provide client satisfaction.">
• Establish, implement, and continuously improve AP policies, processes, and internal controls.">
• Oversee cleanup, coding, and reconciliation of bank transactions for 150+ new clients onboarded each month.">
• Partner with client service teams to ensure AP processes meet unique needs of creators, YouTubers, and influencers.">
• Monitor AP metrics, prepare dashboards, and report to senior leadership on performance, trends, and areas for improvement.">
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal audit requirements.">
• Drive automation and process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability of AP operations.">
• Resolve escalated issues, complex discrepancies, or vendor/client disputes in a timely manner.">
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, tax, and operations teams to align AP with broader business objectives.">
• Manage team of 5-7 people and interact with clients for all activities as per SLA covering accounts payable, Accounts Receivable, Supporting the Month end close activities and providing essential financial reporting Etc.">

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred).">
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.">
• Proven expertise in managing high-volume AP operations in a fast-paced environment.">
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, reconciliations, transaction coding, and compliance requirements.">
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar) and AP automation tools.">
• Working knowledge about various prepaid and credit card applications like Travel Card, Ramp, Divvy etc., preferred.">
• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.">
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.">
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, particularly in client-facing situations.">
• Experience working with digital creators, YouTubers, or influencer clients is highly desirable.">
• Preferably looking for Immediate joiners or with upto 15-25 days' notice period">
