Regulatory Support Specialist

Job Summary:
Vervent is seeking a skilled Regulatory Support Specialist - Credit Bureau Operations to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering solutions for audit requests, escalated customer inquiries, and disputes related to credit reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate account-level activity and exercise judgment in making decisions related to case investigations.
- Review and respond to credit reporting disputes received via incoming correspondence or through E-Oscar.
- Assist in the support of external audit requests.
- Make credit reporting corrections and updates as appropriate.
- Respond clearly and accurately to consumer disputes and complaints.
- Report material findings to team leaders for systemic resolutions.
Requirements:
- Degree in business management, computer science, or related field is preferred. High school diploma with some post-secondary education required.
- 3 years of experience in loan servicing, economics, compliance, or related field.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various audiences including customers and team members through written and verbal means.
- Experience working with credit reporting bureaus or E-Oscar is strongly preferred.
- Solid organizational skills, ability to work across teams, ability to focus on broader goals and customer-level details simultaneously, and ability to multi-task effectively.
- A demonstrated ability to perform job duties with strong attention to detail.
