Job Title: Digital Workplace Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Workplace Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our digital tools and platforms.

This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to develop and implement solutions that drive business outcomes. You will collaborate with technical teams to design and implement solutions that align with our technology strategy.

As a Digital Workplace Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with senior technical management, product owners, and project managers to design and implement solutions.
  • Working with team members to deliver service improvements without unnecessary investment in new products.
  • Improving alignment of technology solutions with operational areas to focus on practical delivery of solutions architecture.
  • Acting as subject matter expert (SME) for Atlassian Jira and Confluence and related add-ons.
  • Providing ownership and regular updates of issues, supporting users with best practice advice until request has been resolved.
  • Evaluating, diagnosing, researching, analyzing, and providing solutions to simple and medium-complexity problems encountered.
  • Proactively planning to assess new upcoming features on cloud and communicating to users wherever applicable.
  • Adhering to security policy surrounding platform standards and providing engineering solutions to that policy as directed by the security product roadmap.
  • Ensuring operational requirements are matched in the delivery of services around standards and engineering.
  • Managing user access permissions per security guidelines.
  • Ensuring effective communication across departments and geographically dispersed teams.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive expertise in analyzing, troubleshooting, implementing, and supporting Jira and Confluence Cloud.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud within a professional environment.
  • Acquaintance with agile methodologies and cloud-based project management tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of security policies, user management, best practices, design, usage, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills in a cloud-based setting.
  • Proficiency in Shell, Python, and Groovy scripting for automating tasks.
  • Strong knowledge in creating reports on Jira dashboards and EazyBI.
  • Outstanding implementation skills in managing Jira custom fields, workflow management, and developing common templates.
  • Considerable experience in integrating Jira and Confluence with third-party tools.
  • Proficient in cost optimization by identifying and substituting unnecessary plugins with cloud-native features.
