We are seeking a highly skilled IB Counselor to join our team at Manav Rachna International School. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive and inclusive school environment that promotes students' well-being, personal growth, and academic success.

About the Role:

The IB Counselor will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to students across all grade levels (PYP, MYP, and DP/CP) in alignment with the IB philosophy. This includes working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes students' well-being, personal growth, and academic success.

Key responsibilities include providing individual and group counseling to address students' personal, social, and emotional challenges, developing and implementing social-emotional learning (SEL) programs and well-being initiatives, supporting students in managing stress, anxiety, and mental health concerns, and promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment in line with IB Learner Profile attributes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address students' personal, social, and emotional challenges
  • Develop and implement social-emotional learning (SEL) programs and well-being initiatives
  • Support students in managing stress, anxiety, and mental health concerns
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment in line with IB Learner Profile attributes

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • Experience as a school counselor, preferably in an IB school setting
  • Strong understanding of IB programs (PYP, MYP, DP/CP) and their requirements
  • Knowledge of child development, mental health issues, and crisis intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, parents, and school leadership
