Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and creative SDE-2 Android to join our dynamic development team.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality Android Applications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create mobile solutions that meet our users' needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop intuitive, efficient, and reliable Android Application that adhere to best practices and guidelines.
  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code.
  • Actively monitor, build and roll out the application for every release cycle.
  • Conduct thorough testing of developed applications to ensure functionality, performance, and stability.
  • Identify and address bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other issues.
  • Mentor junior team members and collaborate with the rest of the team to brainstorm design and solutions for upcoming features and challenges.
  • Actively participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams including product managers, designers, backend developers and founders to discuss the requirements and build them into functional applications.
  • Communicate overall project status, challenges, and solutions with team members.
  • Create and maintain documentation for developed features, APIs, and codebase for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:

Experience: 3+ years in building Android applications.

Skills: Proficient in Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, MVVM pattern, and Android Architecture components.

Tools: Git, CI/CD pipelines, and app release management.

Expertise: Performance optimization, memory management, RESTful APIs, and Agile methodologies.

Problem-solving: Strong in data structures, algorithms, and design documentation (HLD/LLD)

Collaboration: Experience in cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments.

React Native: Hands-on with app development, state management, navigation, and native modules.

Other: Ability to mentor, self-motivated, and passionate about technology.
