Senior Software Engineer Job Description

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of our Android application. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kotlin, RxJava, and Coroutines, as well as experience with Android app architecture and memory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Features: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features for our Android application based on specifications provided by Product and Design teams.
  • Write Unit Tests: Write unit tests for new features to ensure reliability and robustness.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with Backend, Design, and Product Management teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
  • Optimize Application: Work on bug fixes, improve performance, and continuously optimize the application.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience in Android application development with a strong focus on Kotlin, RxJava, and Coroutines.
  • Skills: Experience with Android app architecture (MVVM, live data, data binding, etc.) and memory management, solid understanding of concurrency, multi-threading, and network interaction in Android.
  • Languages: Proficient in Java or Kotlin programming language.
